What happens next?

If you’d like to explore the possibility of psychotherapy / counselling please phone me on 07972 538764 and leave a voice message. Alternatively email me using the Contact form below. It would be helpful if you could give your name, phone number and a selection of times when it would be convenient to call you. We will then briefly discuss your enquiry which will be treated in the strictest confidence.

If, at that point, we feel it would be useful to meet, we will book a time to begin the process of assessment. This usually involves two or three hour-and-a-half long sessions in which I can get a clearer idea of the things that have led you to contact me and also hear something of your story. It’s often the case that possible connexions between those two things begin to suggest themselves.

The assessment sessions give us the opportunity to see whether psychotherapy might be suitable for you. They are very much a two-way process. In other words they are a chance to see if we can work with each other.

Please note that I will respond promptly to your enquiry but, as we know, emails can sometimes end up in Junk Mail so if you don’t hear from me, please do check your Junk Mail just in case!
